This is a Blow Moulded PU Bottle designed to fit inside a cash cassette in a ATM. The Prototypes are made using the Laser sintering process in Polyamide material which is the only rapid prototyping process that created a water tight bottle for testing. Our scope of work was to measure the existing container and design the product to fit with maximum volume with disturbing the mechanism of the cassette.

3D printed prototypes allowed the customer to test their product before going into plastic injection moulding production.

The Laser sintering process prints the best quality and highest durability parts for testing and for small batch production. DFI also supplies customers with these versatile prototypes on request.
